A traveler always chooses a new road, where s/he can meet new people, experience a new environment, and make new memories. So, if you are a true traveler, Annapurna Circuit Trek is the trek meant for you. Passing through a variety of climates and topography, this is one of the best trekking destinations in the world.  Annapurna Circuit falls in the Annapurna region of the mid-western part of Nepal. The trail runs around the Annapurna Massif and also takes you to the land beyond the Himalayas. Most of its part also falls inside Annapurna Conservation Area, presenting you a glimpse of the rich biodiversity of Nepal. The variations each new destination offers are a mind-boggling phenomenon. While the hills challenge you with ascends, the passes challenge you with the wind. The forests heal you with their shade, the rhododendron flowers with their beauty, and the rivers with their cold waters. Above all, the views of the snow-capped majestic mountains in front of your eyes make you forget all your pain. The mountains that accompany you throughout the trek are Mt. Annapurna, Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt. Machhapuchhre, Mt. Manaslu, Mr. Gangapurna, Tilicho Peak, and Pisang Peak, among others.

The Annapurna Circuit Trek passes through many iconic places in Nepal. You will have to cross the Thorang La Pass (5416 m), the highest pass in the world, and also pass through the Kali Gandaki gorge, the deepest gorge in the world. Ghorepani Poon Hill treks are famous for the sunrise views that give 360o panoramic views of the mountains. The apples from Manang and Mustang are very famous and tasty; you shouldn't miss tasting their dried apples and apple wine. Muktinath is a sacred pilgrimage of Lord Vishnu and is most famous for the 108 stone spouts. The variation in topography also brings the variation in the people living. The upper hills are inhabited by the Gurung and Magars, whereas the drier areas are inhabited by the Thakali. Overall, we can see a huge influence on Buddhist cultures and traditions. But regardless of the ethnic group, good hospitality and a friendly smile from the Nepali host are always guaranteed.

Apart from these, you can enjoy the Kaligandaki and Marsayangdi Rivers flowing along the trail. You will also witness numerous waterfalls and natural hot springs. Century-old monasteries, Gumbas, Chortens, and prayer flags are also a common sight, giving you positive vibes throughout the trek. So, book your tickets for either spring or autumn, and enjoy the best of Nepal with Adventure White Mountain. We at Adventure White Mountain will make sure that your time in Nepal is the best travel experience.

                                             Mardi Himal Trek

A trek to Mardi Himal Base Camp is a generally new program in the Annapurna area. It gives us a chance to escape the group and simply appreciate the characteristic views and social conditions of rural Nepal. With astounding perspectives of Mt. Machhapuchhre and adjacent Annapurna Himalayas trekking, this Mardi Himal Trek has proven to have a lot of potentials. By many measures, it is deemed the next popular trekking route in this region.

The trek begins as soon as you land in Kathmandu. A quick sightseeing tour of the valley including the tour of seven UNESCO World Heritage sites is followed by a briefing on your trek ahead. You will drive to Pokhara on the following day. Khande, a short drive of 45 minutes from Pokhara, is the place where our trekking starts. Gradually taking after the trial, we head towards Pothana appreciating the common lifestyle and close-ups of wonderful towns. We then head through delightful rhododendron forests and stay overnight at local camps called Kokar in the regional dialect. As we leave on the following day, we move towards the lower base camp which gives us a few peaceful views of Mt. Fishtail and other snowcapped mountains. At last, on the seventh day of our outing, we trek to Mardi Himal Base Camp from where you will have prominent and staggering views of the Himalayas at 4,450 m. Later in the day, we return to the high camp for our stay overnight, and then we descend gradually downhill. Along the way, we pass through the quiet villages of Siding, Lwang, and Khora Muk. As we near the end of our journey, we take a short drive to Pokhara.

The base camp of Mardi Himal can be visited during any time of the year, however, the most preferred season is in spring when rhododendron forests are in full bloom and in fall when the skies get clearer each day revealing the majestic mountains on the horizon. Much trekking experience is not required but the trek demands a bit of physical fitness and energy
